Ti Point, Saturday, Mar 5.

To celebrate the new semester, we are heading out for a day's climbing at Ti Point on Saturday.

This is a sweet crag located just an hour from Auckland (near Omaha) and has a nice bunch of climbs for climbers of any level to hang out on. It is a sea crag - cliffs right by the ocean - so you will also get your share of boulder hopping and picnic-ing with a view.

Don't stress if you haven't been outdoors before (or even indoors!), we can teach you what you need to know when you get there.

The plan is to meet at uni at 7:30am and drive up together. Walk in to the crag takes around half an hour, so bring walking shoes and a pack to carry some gear. Climb for the day, then chill out at Goat Island for a swim before driving back to Auckland, getting dinner on the way.

If you are psyched and keen, fill in this form here: http://goo.gl/forms/fjJaHLqxF4

The space is limited, so get in quick!

I'll get back to you on Thursday evening with a confirmation and car list. Any questions email safety@aurac.org.nz

Hope to see you there!
