alpine trips

Our local maunga (mountains) are Taranaki, Ruapehu, Ngauruhoe (aka Mt Doom from Lord of the Rings) and Tongariro. Most club trips are in this area, but occasionally the more adventurous head down to the South Island.
Many of our alpine trips do require experience, such as beginners or advanced snow school.
