For those who are interested in the next step on from top-roping. We will be driving down on Saturday back to Waipari to learn to lead climb. We will continue honing our skills on Sunday, potentially reviewing our abseiling/anchor setting skills for those who attended those courses too.

This course will cover how to build top-rope anchors and other anchors that will be useful as your climbing progresses.

Time & Location: Thursday 6th April, 6 pm - 9 pm (Hopefully won't take the whole time slot), City Campus

This course will cover how to safely clean outdoor sport routes and get your gear off the climb.

Last weekend saw our biggest o-trip ever and we had a brilliant time taking over the Wharepapa Rock and Waipari crags! Keep your climbing buzz going this week by coming along to club night:

Last Wednesday was another cracking night of climbing at Birkenhead! It was the biggest club night that I've ever seen so thanks for everyone's patience as we all sorted out the gear and belay lessons!

This coming Thursday brings our Trips Launch, where we will be presenting our upcoming trips and giving you an introduction to all that AURAC can offer. You'll get to meet our committee members and hear about some of the climbing adventures on the horizon!

To welcome in a new year of sends comes AURAC's first social event for 2023 - our Slacklining Picnic in Albert Park!
